Higher Drama is studied in S5 or S6. Pupils interested in acting, directing, reading, watching, evaluating, analysing and writing about drama would enjoy this course. 50% of the final grade is awarded for Acting and 50% for a written paper which comprises two essays and a dramatic commentary. Pupils do not need to have previous qualifications in drama but the ability to write essays and some experience of practical drama would help.
